FAIRBANKS, AK
- The Alaska Nanooks knew they had their work cut out for them heading into Sunday's match against Texas Christian. It proved more than they could handle as they were outgunned by the defending NCAA Champions, 4,680-4,658.

Senior Cody Rutter shot a match-high 587 in smallbore, but it was not enough to carry the Nanooks to victory as they were outscored 2,320-2,312 by their guests.

In air rifle, the Horned Frogs showed their depth with their lowest individual shooter scoring a 588 and the team taking a 14-point victory from their hosts. Anna Hjelmevol was tops for the Blue and Gold with a 590, followed by Dustin Chesebro with a 589, Ryan Dunham-Bender with a 585, Cole Bures with a 582 and Michael Liuzza with a 575.

The loss was the Nanooks first of the seasons and marked their first home loss under Dan Jordan's tutelage. The Blue and Gold look to redeem themselves in Tuesday's rematch against TCU.
