"As young a team as we are, we had some lapses, and it's important that we learn to eliminate those lapses and overcome them when they take place." "We fell into the same pattern that we fell into last (Friday) night," said JSU Head Coach Dave D'Agostino. "We missed some chip shots that we are capable of making. We didn't capitalize on our opportunities. We couldn't finish tonight, and they hit some big shots. They shot the heck out of the ball in the second half." Utah Valley State improved to 1-4 with the victory, while Jacksonville State dropped to 0-3. The Wolverines claimed third place at the Mount McKinley Bank/North Star Invitational, while the Gamecocks finished fourth. -UAF BASKETBALL-
