On Saturday night against Rensselaer, Sova netted the Nanooks' game-tying power-play goal at 18:24 of the third period to earn the program its first Brice Alaska Goal Rush title. He also helped set up Andy Taranto's game-winning power-play goal in a 4-2 win over Robert Morris on Friday night. Sova was named to the Goal Rush's All-Tournament Team.
