The Great Northwest Athletic Conference named outside hitter
Tereza Bendlova GNAC Player-Of-The-Week Monday following a weekend where Bendlova led the Nanooks past in-state rivals Alaska Anchorage, 3-1.
Bendlova finished the match with 19 kills, 14 digs and three blocks, including a block assist on match point in the final set. She notched five kills during a 10-2 Nanook run in set three that helped them bounce back from their lone set loss of the night.
Bendlova ranks third in the GNAC in kills with 3.89 per set. She has 136 total kills—a team high.
The Nanooks return to action Thursday when they host Western Washington at 7:00 p.m.
