Forrest Karr, Director of Athletics and Campus Recreation for the University of Alaska Fairbanks, announced today that Flint Hills Resources Alaska has signed on to be the title sponsor of the Nanook Classic Division II women's volleyball tournament, hosted by the Alaska Nanooks. The agreement covers the 2010 tournament.

Alaska Rifle head coach Dan Jordan announced that the Nanook Clay Classic will be held this Saturday, August 28 at the Fairbanks Trap Club on the corner of Hagelbarger Avenue and Old Steese Highway. The event begins at 10 a.m., and registration opens at 9 a.m.
