Prior to Alaska...Participated on the UHS Titans[apos] varsity cross country and track teams all four years ... Recieved cross country Captain[apos]s and Coach[apos]s Awards ... Was named the cross country team[apos]s Most Improved runner as a junior in 2005 ... Best prep career marks in cross country include a third-place finish for ages 16-19 in a 7.43 mile race, which she ran in 53:52, as well as a 19:10 time for a 5K run ... Ran her personal best two-mile time at the 2007 Paseo Invitational in 11:53.86, a 27-second improvement from her previous personal record of 12:21.08, set two days earlier at a league meet.
