FARIBANKS, AK - Alaska Rifle head coach
Dan Jordan announced that the Nanook Clay Classic will be held this Saturday, August 28 at the Fairbanks Trap Club on the corner of Hagelbarger Avenue and Old Steese Highway. The event begins at 10 a.m., and registration opens at 9 a.m.
The participation fee for an individual is $100, and per team, it's $500. The event includes a lunch at 11 a.m. Proceeds from the Clay Classic benefit the Alaska Nanooks men's and women's rifle program.
The team course of fire includes 50 shots of 16-yard singles (two rounds) and 15 pairs or 30 shots of doubles. There will also be a fun shoot for the longest shot. The buy-in for the fun shoot is $20.
