Roselius was not only inducted into the Nanooks Hall of Fame over the weekend, on Friday, Roselius was also inducted into the University of Alaska Fairbanks Alumni Association Hall of Fame. A member of the hockey team from 1978-81, Roselius is notably recognized for bridging the gap between students and the UAF administration to create a hockey team. Roselius has helped the program grow to the NCAA Division I team it is now, while also serving as President for the Alaska Nanooks Hockey Alumni Association.
Roselius resides in Fairbanks with his family and is seen at almost every, if not all, Nanook hockey games.
When asked about what he envisions for Alaska Nanooks Athletics in the next ten years, Roselius replied, "I would really love to see an on-campus facility where all ten sports could play. But in the end, there are a lot of lessons being taught to these young student-athletes by their coaching staff, not just hockey, but all ten sports. I hope to see these athletes continue to thrive here at UAF."
