Seattle Pacific downs Alaska

The Alaska Nanook volleyball team took on Seattle Pacific Thursday night and dropped a 3-0 contest at the Patty Center. The Falcons used 13 kills from Sarah Risser and hit .237 as a team to bring home the victory. Seattle Pacific took set one 25-17 and won games two and three 25-15 and 27-25, respectively.

Eight Nanooks highlight GNAC Academic All-Conference Selection

Eight Alaska volleyball student-athletes have been named to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference volleyball team on Wednesday. The team is comprised of student-athletes who have attained a 3.2 cumulative GPA, in their second year at their institution, and be a projected letter winner.

Yellowjackets blank Nanooks

The Alaska Nanooks volleyball team finished up their fourth straight road game and fell to Montana State-Billings 3-0 on Saturday night. The Yellowjackets used 17 kills and 11 digs from Devon Crotteau to capture their fifth straight win.

Nanooks drop contest to Anchorage

The Alaska Nanooks took to the court in Anchorage on Wednesday night and fell in three sets to rival Alaska Anchorage 3-0. The Blue and Gold drop the contests 25-18, 25-23, and 25-22 to break their three game winning streak while getting out blocked 14-6 by the Seawolves.

Alaska Nanooks senior setter Alexa Sherman (Calabasas, CA) was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending 11-1.

Nanooks set GNAC record in win

The Alaska Nanooks took to the court against Western Oregon on Saturday night and had a record breaking performance in a 3-1 win over the Wolves. The Nanooks hit a GNAC record .403 for the match and had four players tally double-digit kills in the victory. The win is the Nanooks third straight, their longest streak of the season.
