Alaska Nanooks senior
Aurelia Korthauer (Bonndorf, Germany) was the top racer for the Blue and Gold as she finished 11th in the women's five kilometer classic race Thursday at the NCAA Skiing Championships. She crossed the finish line in a time of 17 minutes and 30.3 seconds, just missing a spot in the top 10 and All-American honors by 4.7 seconds.

The NCAA Men's and Women's Skiing Committee announced the 74 men and 74 women selected to participate in the 2010 National Collegiate Men's and Women's Skiing Championships, to be held March 10-13 at the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club and Howelsen Hill Ski Area in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. 2.21.10 | Men's Skiing, Women's Skiing
The Alaska Nanooks' men's and women's ski teams wrapped the NCAA Central Region Championships Sunday, finishing the two-day event with 277 points and second place overall. A repeat of the Central Collegiate Skiing Association results from the previous weekend, the Blue and Gold were topped by the Northern Michigan Wildcats (335) but beat out the Michigan Tech Huskies (261) for the second highest spot on the podium.
