Three Nanooks tallied double-figure points but it was not enough to lift them to victory.

Grace Milliken (Healy, AK) has been named to the Academic All-District women's basketball second team by ESPN The Magazine, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Milliken, who maintained a perfect 4.0 grade-point average is a biological science major at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

th straight loss, 81-48, to Alaska Anchorage on Wednesday night at the Patty Center.
Lakeshia Levi (Warner Robins, GA) scored 20 points and pulled down 9 rebounds as the Nanooks fell to 1-18 and 0-8 in the GNAC.

The Alaska Nanooks basketball teams compete for in-state bragging rights this week, when they host Alaska Anchorage Seawolves in Great Northwest Athletic Conference action. The women take to the court Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. while the men tip off against UAA Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
